Posting Number 3 - The Saga Continues

Number Three. Thanks for your patience. I haven’t posted since the big number 2 entry (no pun intended - this is a classy blog -- please keep your mind out of the gutter!) so I didn’t get the chance to thank either Sally-Sal for her nice award or Ladytruth for her encouragement. (I like to call Ladytruth, the South African blogger chick, because I get to talk about both blonds and Afrikaners as both amuse me. I am always interested in people who live in foreign countries, and I always like to ask them how many channels of television they have, as if they have just discovered it. I know the joke is old and been-there-and-done-that, but I never get tired of it.)

But I digress. Back to me, of course. I was talking about my successful entry into the blogesphere. I have apparently made a more successful initial splash with my blog than Gus Grissom did in landing his Mercury 2 space capsule. (Numerical synchronicity never lies, and we can see the circle has finally been completed.) Since I have now received a coveted award from Sally-Sal, and the nod of encouragement from said blond haired Afrikaner chick, I now have two choices: either I can rest on my laurels after two wildly successful postings and bask in my glory by quitting while I am still ahead, or I can be so enthused by these responses that I profusely write one blog entry after another, until the world receives all that I can provide to help all successfully transverse through the early 21th century. (Or, I could take the middle ground of posting just a few -- which is more practical and infinitely more balanced -- but doesn't add to the drama or the pageantry of the moment -- and must ultimately be rejected.)

Of course, when one considers the true nature of the universe -- the lack of any real time and space -- and that only the eternal now exists (which includes all past, present and future realities), I have already completed all of my blog entries. But if I don't spell them out in written form, they would only exist is some undefined reality, and we would never have the chance to take this journey together. And that, of course, would really be unfortunate for us all. And something I will do my best not to allow.
